Cover Shoot with Korto Momolu of Project Runway!

If you follow my blog with any regularity whatsoever, then you know I'm a diehard Project Runway fan. (I, along with legions of fans are trepidatious about how Season 6 in L.A. is going to play out, but I'm optimistic.)

So I was tickled PINK when the opportunity came along to shoot Korto Momolu from Season 5. Korto was a finalist and got to show in the tents. Michell and I lovedlovedloved her and totally wanted her to win. Click on the video below, and you'll see why. Celebrity Parents Magazine Upcoming Shoot with Laurie Berkner

I am soooo excited about my upcoming shoot with Laurie Berkner!!! Laurie is one of the finest kids' musician in the industry. Her music is fun, catchy, and I dig the lyrics. I LOVE LOVE LOVE her!!!! We're shooting next week, and I'm totally taking the kids out from school to come along on the shoot and meet Laurie (just one of the many, many perks of this awesome job of mine!)

We Got Annie. :)

Last weekend, I shot the actresses from the 1982 film Annie for Celebrity Parents Magazine. It was the first time Aileen Quinn (Annie), Toni Ann Gisondi (Molly) and Rosanne Sorrentino (Pepper) have seen each other in over 20+ years. We shot the cover and inside shots at Monmouth University's Wilson Hall, which was the actual location for the Daddy Warbucks' scenes in the movie.

Readers, it was just magical. I've loved Aileen Quinn since I was 9 years-old, and to shoot the actresses in the actual mansion was beyond words. I got so excited I started to cry when we walked in and saw the Tiffany ceiling and the staircase. It was beyond awesome.

There is so much more to tell, but it will wait until we run the Annie cover this summer. But what was perhaps one of the most touching moments of the day was when my daughter, Elizabeth, posed on the Grand Staircase (where Aileen/Annie sang, "I Think I'm Gonna Like It Here") with Aileen. Elizabeth loves the movie, and this photo says it all.

It's a Girl! And another Girl! Oh, yeah, and Twin Boys...

They say that pregnancy is contagious, and nowhere is that more evident recently than in our own family. Three ladies are pregnant; two are having girls and one is having twin boys. So when we got back from our vacation last week, the family asked if we would host the baby shower. Of course, we agreed, thinking that it was going to be a small family affair.

Well...

What started out as an intimate gathering has turned into a full-on shindig. Our home looks like it's been doused with Pepto Bismol and there's "It's A Girl!" signage everywhere. And not only am I the Official Family Photographer, but we're doing a maternity shoot for one of the mama's, too, right smack in the middle of the party, upstairs in the master suite!

It's going to be a beautiful day. :)

Celebrity Parents Magazine Mother's Day Issue Featuring Alex and Simon from Real Housewives!

I shot Alex and Simon from The Real Housewives of New York City recently for the cover of Celebrity Parents Magazine. I must admit, I love the two of them. They are exactly the same on-screen as they are off-screen.

I did the shoot with Dougie Poo (aka My Gay Husband) again; I missed him sooooo much!!! There are tons of celeb shoots coming up, including a jaunt out to L.A. where we're going to shoot about 20 celebs in 5 days!

Going on Vacation!!!!!

Michell, the kids and I have been counting down to this vacation like no other. Swimming with dolphins, battling swash-buckling pirates...we can't wait!!!! So here is a "Vacation" video to get you in the mood!

Cirque Du Soleil's Kooza

Michell and I went to Cirque Du Soleil's Kooza last night. Friends, I cannot express what a wonderful show it was. It was just brilliant! We had the most amazing seats. We were able to partake in the Tapis Rouge, which is the Cirque Du Soleil VIP area where they photograph you, red carpet style, as you come in. We dined on the most delicious food and had the best champagne. Of course, since it's us, we were giggling, that's how joyous it was!

Celebrity Parents Magazine April Issue Featuring Rain Pryor

This is the April 1st cover of Celebrity Parents Magazine. We went down to Baltimore, MD to shoot actress/singer/author Rain Pryor (the daughter of the late, great Richard Pryor). The shoot was so great! Rain is hysterical, and when you're talking to her, you can see so much of her father in her. Rain's fiance, Yale, and their baby, Lotus Marie, were just wonderful to work with, and since then, Rain and I have become friends. Click on the cover to go check out the magazine! :)
